 My name is Carol. I live with my husband and our two sons in New York’s Mid-Hudson Valley. I graduated from UMass Amherst with a degree in journalism. I minored in economics. The only thing that kept me from a double-major was statistics (the course was notoriously difficult). Prior to my life as a mom, I was an editor in various capacities at a trade magazine that focussed on the telecommunications industry and a news wire that distributed business-related information to news services across the world. These days I find myself doing a lot of freelance writing in addition to co-owning a small wine shop.

To say I am busy is an understatment, but that’s how I like it. I love a challenge, I love to co-ordinate, I love to organize, and I love to pass information on to others. I welcome feedback so don’t be shy if you want to drop me a line!
